The 960-SK soldering tip is a precision knife-edge type tip designed for Quick soldering stations including models 236, 706, 936A, 3104, 3102, TS1100, 709, and 969. Its knife-edge geometry provides accurate solder application and excellent access to tight joints, making it ideal for fine soldering tasks, SMD work, and detailed electronics assembly or repair.
For best performance and longer tip life, keep the tip clean with appropriate sponges or tip cleaners, and tin it after use to prevent oxidation. Proper tip maintenance and appropriate temperature settings improve soldering results and extend tool lifespan
